  • NOW made, in profit, $21, 804.14

The Recipients:

  • 10 community groups will each receive $1,000
    • Bot Builders Robotics – students learning to build, code and compete
    • Broken to Brilliant – helping domestic violence survivors
    • Everton Park State High School – Bursary Program
    • Ferny Grove State High School – Entrepreneurs’ Program
    • Man Up Australia – prostate cancer education in regional Qld
    • Meals on Wheels Stafford
    • Nourish Street – supporting people experiencing homelessness 
    • Picabeen Community Centre – support programs and activities for families 
    • Trek 2 Health –mental wellness programs through nature based treks
    • All Abilities Australia – a unique blend of disability service and dance 
  • Olympic Athlete – NOW will provide a $1,000 per year for six years to help a rising Olympic athlete chase their dream on the world stage.
  • NOW Kindness Cart – $1,000 will be provided to continue the much-needed Kindness Cart at La Familia Café, at Stafford Heights, providing non-perishable food and other essentials to people in need.
  • NOW Christmas Hampers – $5,000 to provide 50 special Christmas hampers to families in need.
