Kids Matter Community Foundation, Comedy for a Cause

A showcase of some of the best comedians from the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, raising funds for The Kids Matters Community Foundation.

The Kids Matters Community Foundation was established as a not for profit organisation on the 27th January 2023. For 20 years, we, as Kids Matters Occupational Therapy have had the privilege of supporting countless children and families through expert therapy services. However, we have also witnessed the heartbreaking reality that not every family can afford to meet their child’s additional health and developmental needs.

No child should be turned away from receiving essential support due to financial barriers. This deeply held belief is what led us to take a bold step forward. In late 2022, we saw an opportunity to make a real difference and established The Kids Matters Community Foundation.

Our mission is to bridge the gap for families in need by funding assessments that give children access to essential specialist health care. We strive to open doors to opportunity, ensuring every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential because no child should be left behind.
