NOW BUSINESSES SUPPORT THOSE IN NEED

With so much happening or rather not happening at the moment it’s always heart-warming to see our community come together in times of need.

Reno Revivals who are part of the NOW Business Network are doing just that.  When they heard that fellow NOW member and hard-working 88-year-old community volunteer Jack Pool needed some maintenance at his place they decided that they could help.  Jack has been a Meals On Wheels volunteer for over 20 years and president of Stafford Meals on Wheels over 15 years and if that isn’t enough to keep him busy he also volunteers at Bunnings sausage sizzles helping fundraise for other community organisations.

The wonderful team at Reno Revivals has organised donations of tiles from National Tiles and carpet donated by All Flooring Solutions.  Reno Revivals will kindly be supplying the glues, grout, and labour to prepare the areas and carry out the tiling and carpet laying.  With an estimated cost of around $10,000 in donations it has brought Jack to tears.

Jack said, “I’m overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity by all involved”.  “I can’t thank them enough”.

Cathi Pimm from Reno Revivals said, “we are so excited to be able to do this for Jack”.

The work is scheduled to start on Monday 27 April.
