The exciting news:
I have recently been selected to star in a ground-breaking TV show in 2021 called ‘Adventure All-Stars.’ Produced by the internationally acclaimed Charity TV Global, this media project combines adventure, travel and philanthropy, and will be broadcast not only across Channel 7 but also to over 45 million homes worldwide, in 24 countries.
My reason for taking part?
To raise $10K over the next 10 months for Project Karma, an Australian registered charity who rescue children out of exploitive environments and seek justice against trafficking networks.
What I’ll be doing:
To raise these desperately needed funds and help keep more children safe from a life of sexual exploitation, I have signed up to be a cast member on Adventure All-Stars, where I will be flown to a secret location for six days of high-intensity action and adventure. If you’ve seen previous seasons of Adventure All-Stars, you’ll have seen contestants doing everything from white water rafting, to bungee jumping, and everything in between. As a very NON-ADVENTUROUS person, this is as far from my comfort zone as I can get! I won’t know until I arrive, where I’m going or what I’m doing, and even though this is truly terrifying for me, I’m willing to put myself out there to help save more children from trafficking.
On top of this, I will also be completing a 30km walk from New Farm to Redcliffe, prior to filming.
How people can support me:
To raise my fundraising goal, I am looking for several local businesses who would like to partner with me as a corporate sponsor. In exchange for corporate support, businesses who make a donation of $1000 – 5000 will receive a host of sponsorship bonuses, including having their logo featured on all cast member’s t-shirts, and broadcast to 45 million people around the world.
I’d love to speak further with any local businesses who may be interested in supporting me, and in exchange, having their brand featured globally. For more information, I have attached the sponsorship guide as well as confirmation of my involvement. A link to my fundraiser can also be found here.
